Kim is the youngest Board member to ever serve on the Kemet Coalition where she resides as the Vice President, the Coalition is a non-profit organization of HIV Service providers committed to addressing the disproportionate prevalence of HIV/AIDS in African Americans throughout San Diego County, she is also the California ambassador for The Red Pump Project, a non-profit that seeks to raise awareness about the impact of HIV on women and girls. Kim has been working in the Social Service field for six years and speaks both locally and nationally at conferences, high schools and college campuses.
